Wichtigste Anwendungsbereiche sind Schwarz Wei Verbindungen, hoch kohlenstoffhaltige und schwer schweibare Sthle, Manganhartstahl z. B. X120 Mn 12 (1. 3401), Pufferlagen fr Hartauftragungen und kaltzhe Nickelsthle, z. B. 10 Ni 14 (1. 5637) und 12 Ni 19 (1. 5680).
